Today, we continued our study of the tenth vision of Zechariah, found in Zechariah chapter 8.
In this class, we focused on the character qualities that Yahweh is looking to produce in Zion/Israel (the saved people of Yahweh). These are the character qualities of all that will be saved, and are listed in Zechariah 8:16-17.
Zechariah 8:16-17 “These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Yahweh.”

Speak Truth to your neighbor – Give the
teachings/lifestyle/Word of God in verity, trustworthiness, Truth, to your
companions, anyone in your sphere of influence:
o
Leviticus 19:11 – do not
steal, deal falsely (deceptively) or lie to your brother
o
Psalms 15:2 –
walk in righteousness and speak the Truth in our hearts (not self-deceived)
o
Proverbs 12:17 –
when we speak Truth we show righteousness
o
Proverbs 12:19 – the
lip of Truth (the person who speaks Truth) will live forever
o
Jeremiah 9:3-5 – when
we use the gift of speech for deception and lies, we make our mouths a weapon
of destruction for ourselves (sin) and others
o
Hosea 4:1-2 –
when there is knowledge (in Hebrew, “knowledge” pertains to Marriage Covenant) of
Yahweh (Zion is in the Marriage Covenant relationship with Yahweh), Truth and Mercy
will be present
o
Micah 6:12 – the
“rich” men of the earth (who are lost) are deceptive
o
Ephesians 4:25 – put
away lying and speak (everyone) the Truth
o
1 Thessalonians 4:6 – defraud not your neighbor

Execute the Judgment of Truth and Peace in your gates –
o
Zechariah 7:9 – show
compassion every man to his brother
o
Isaiah 9:7 – the
Kingdom of Heaven is just, filled with peace (Holy Spirit’s fruits)
o
Isaiah 11:3-9 – they
will not hurt nor destroy in the Holy Mountain
o
Amos 5:15 – hate
evil, love good, establish judgment in the gate
o
Amos 5:24 – let
judgment run down as water and righteousness as a mighty stream
o
Matthew 5:9 – Blessed are the
peacemakers for they are the children of Yah.

Do not imagine (fabricate, think, plot…) evil in your hearts against your neighbor –
o
Zechariah 7:10 – do not
oppress a widow (in modern times, this is
a command not to oppress, ignore, take advantage of… the defenseless) and
do not imagine evil against your brother
o
Proverbs 3:29 – people
should be secure with you – never devise evil
o
Proverbs 6:14 – truth
without kindness and mercy is not right…
do not sow discord
o
Jeremiah 4:14 – our
hearts are to be washed from wickedness
o
Micah 2:1-3 – Woe
(remember the “woes” / thunders in End-time Prophecy) to those who devise
iniquity…
o
Matthew 5:28 – do not
look in lust – or lust (desire what you should not have) after anything - even
in the mind… Sin begins in the mind, when we entertain (imagine) wicked
thoughts, feelings, or desires.
o
Matthew 12:35 – the
actions and attitudes come out of the heart…
good heart = good attitudes, actions, etc… evil heart = evil attitudes, actions, etc.
o
Matthew 15:19 – out
of the heart (when it’s evil) comes evil…
LAST CLASS OF THE YEAR: May 31
Prophecy Club 3 has run from August of 2022 and will be ending on Wednesday, May 31. At that point, we will be taking a break for summer and the new Prophecy-Current Events class will begin on Monday, September 4, 2023.
It's been a wonderful year studying with you all! And I very much look forward to joining you for in-depth prophecy studies again in September (on Labor Day)!
