Prophecy Club 3 - Session 60 - May 17, 2023

Today, we continued our study of the tenth vision of Zechariah, found in Zechariah chapter 8.

In this class, we focused on the identity of Zion/Jerusalem/Israel, when referring to a positive prophecy.

Jerusalem (positive) - is one of the prophetic names for the Bride (144,000) – when Israel was united (before the Jereboam/Rehoboam split) Jerusalem was the capital. So, this represents the leaders of Yahweh’s Kingdom.

-          Daniel’s 70 week prophecy (Daniel 9:24-26) tells the Judgment of Jerusalem. So, in each phase of the 70 weeks, Jerusalem is judged…  once judged – its done… literal Jerusalem was judged at the first round of the fulfillment of the 70 week prophecy. So literal Jerusalem in the future prophecy is the seat of the Beast (antichrist temple) – NEGATIVE

Israel (positive) – is the saved of the northern 10 ten tribes (it is also the overall name for the united people of Yahweh – the head is Joseph (aka Ephraim)

Judah (positive) – is the saved of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin – the head is Judah (the lion constellation)

Zion – the people who trust in Yahweh ARE Mount Zion.

Psalm 125:1 – “They that trust in Yahweh shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” (Words like “as” are not in Hebrew… This Scripture actually says that the people who trust in Yahweh ARE Mount Zion).

Isaiah 51:16 – Zion is Yahweh’s people!

1 Peter 2:5 – “Ye also, as lively (lively is spiritually alive, quickened – made alive – by the Spirit of Yahweh) stones, are built up a spiritual House (Temple of Yahweh, which is holy, because it is indwelt with His Presence), an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Yahshua Christ.”

What made Jerusalem holy? Why was it called the holy city? It was the Presence of Yahweh which indwelt in the Temple that made Jerusalem holy. So, when Yahweh’s Presence was no longer in the Temple, it was no longer the holy city. Similarly, the spiritual Temple of our souls is only holy when Yahweh’s Spirit is indwelling. We must be “lively” in order to be holy.

Micah 4:1-2 – “But in the Last Days (the End of the world) it shall come to pass, that the Mountain (Mount Zion) of the House of Yahweh (His Temple) shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it (the unconverted nations will come to Zion to find Yahweh, Truth, and Torah). And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the Mountain of Yahweh, and to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His Ways, and we will walk in His Paths: for the Law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.” 

·       Pentecost is the feast which divides the two harvests, both of which represent saved groups (aka Philadelphia and Smyrna, aka the two fish in the constellation of Dagim… aka the two candlesticks, which are headed by the two live trees – remember olive trees represent Israel – which are Moses and Elijah)

·       From the Feast of First Fruits (which takes place on the Sunday that falls during the Feast of Unleavened Bread/Passover) – the Barley Harvest begins and continues through Shavuot – Pentecost. So, Pentecost is the end of the Barley Harvest. All the Barley is completely made up (harvested – judged –sealed) by Pentecost. The Barley is the Bride. “The Spirit and Bride say Come!”

o   In Acts 2, we find the first round of Barley (the 144,000 are called “the firstfruits”) harvest in that Pentecost experience. Immediately, on Pentecost, the upper room people preached and 3000 were converted - being the first fruits of the wheat harvest.

·       Micah’s prophecy of the nations saying “come” an going up to Jerusalem to hear Yahweh’s Word and Torah, and learn His Ways is the wheat harvest coming to hear and learn from the barley.

LAST CLASS OF THE YEAR: May 31

Prophecy Club 3 has run from August of 2022 and will be ending on Wednesday, May 31. At that point, we will be taking a break for summer and the new Prophecy-Current Events class will begin on Monday, September 4, 2023.
