Spiritual Warfare - the 3 Top Ruling Spirits - the Three Frogs
·1· Revelation 16:12-14 “And
the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and
the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be
prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out
of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the
mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of
devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of
the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that
great Day of God Almighty.”
o Timing of the Prophecy: the frog spirits
manifest most epically during the 7 vials.
§ “And
the sixth angel poured out his vial…”
o What are the frogs? The frogs are demonic
entities, or spirits, or demons
§ “They
are the spirits of devils”
o What
do the frog spirits do? They go unto (into) the global
political leaders, possessing world governments.
§ “…(they)
go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world…”
§ They
unite the world in rebellion against Yahweh.
Principalities
– Ruling Spirits
There is a hierarchy – a command structure – in the Kingdom
of hell. Not all demons are equally powerful. The most powerful of the demonic
realm is satan himself, of course. But under him, there are “ruling spirits” or
“principalities” – these are the most powerful, evil spiritual beings.
· Romans 8:37-38 “Nay, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things
present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Yahshua our Sovereign.”
· Ephesians 6:11-12 “Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this
world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
o
Again, PRINCIPALITIES are Ruling Spirits –
Rulers of the kingdom of darkness – in this world. Also, we should note that
Ruling Spirits always have many demonic entitles which are under their command.
Thus, ruling spirits never come alone. They marshal and lead the forces of Hell
– the demonic entities - which are under their command.
· Colossians 1:16 “For by Him were all things created,
that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they
be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by Him, and for Him.”
How do Frogs Catch their Prey? –
With their Tongues
Tongues, in the Old Testament is
translated from the Hebrew word lashon, Strong’s Concordance
number H3956, which means “the tongue of a man or animal, and figuratively
indicates speech”.
· Tongues means speech – languages: Genesis 10:20
“These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues
(H3956)”
· Ancient Hebrew Dictionary (by Jeff
Benner): “The organ of the mouth used in eating and speaking. Also language.”
· What kind of speech does the kingdom of hell use
to catch its prey (since frogs catch their prey with their tongues)? The
deceptive speech of hell that will destroy many is called “the doctrines of
devils”
o 1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times
some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils.”
o Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
§ This indicates that the level or magnitude of the deception will be so high that it is “off the charts”.
o 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such
are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the
apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an
angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to
their works.”
WHY ARE THE SPIRITS SO SUCCESSFUL IN DECEIVING – THEY
APPEAR RIGHTEOUS!
How to be protected from demonic lies – and the frog
spirits:
·
Be Good Watchmen (see, study, obey, stay
awake)
o
1 Peter 5:8-9 - “Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking
whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
· Spiritual maturity – which means we need
to be weaned from the milk of the Word and eating – living by – understanding –
the meat (Torah and Prophecy)… Be rooted and grounded in Truth! (Isaiah 8:20)
o Ephesians 4:14 “That we henceforth be no
more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they
lie in wait to deceive.”
o Hebrews 13:9 “Be not carried about
with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be
established with grace...”
· Frogs catch their prey with their tongues, they
are water dwelling, and they are a bit slimy…
So, also these entities (ruling spirits) catch human prey (including
global leaders) with their demonic doctrines (doctrines of devils) and they
dwell in water which represents “nations” and “peoples”… What is the
significance of these three frog spirits coming out the mouths of the dragon,
the beast, and the false prophet? Each of these three entities has a role to
play in advancing the kingdom of hell…
They are allied, but not identical. We need to study the three entities
out of which the frog spirits come, in order to more understand the prophecy.
