Prophecy Club 3 - Day 5 - Zechariah's 4th Vision

 

In today's Prophecy Club we concluded our study of Zechariah's 4th vision, found in Zechariah 3:1-10.

As we saw in our study, Yahshua is called the BRANCH 5 times in Old Testament Bible Prophecy. The title (BRANCH) means that Yahshua is Messiah.

o   H6780 – tsemach  צֶמַח

In this vision we see the following:

Joshua - Yahshua, our High Priest, is the Branch (Messiah)…

Joshua is wearing filthy garments - Yahshua (our Saviour) takes our filthiness and bestows His Righteousness. He is standing in Judgment in your place and mine.

The Stone with seven eyes - Seven is a number signifying perfect Judgment and Completion. This stone is referenced in Revelation as the “Naming Stone” (bearing the new name of each saint) – Because of Messiah, we can receive this Stone – we become “living stones” in His Spiritual House (Temple).

Jerusalem is the Brand, plucked from the Burning - Jerusalem is a symbol of the saved people of Yahweh. This is not the city (literal). Yahweh’s people are all former sinners… So we deserve the Burning… But in Messiah we are saved – His Righteousness clothes us and we are given (in effigy – what happens to Yahshua in this vision is what happens to the saved people of Yahweh, because of His Messiahship) Eternal Life – becoming saved from the Fire.
