In today's class, we looked at the Millennium from the perspective of the Torah. Torah is one of the five keys that are needed to unlock End-time prophecy.
How to use the Torah to find the
Truth: Torah is the “light (Truth) test” – Isaiah
8:20 “To the law and to the testimony: if
they speak not according to this word, it is
because there is no light in them.”
· Yahweh has
declared (given information about) the End (prophetic) from Genesis (the
beginning) – Isaiah 46:10
Deuteronomy 24:5 – “When a
man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be
charged with any business: but he
shall be free at home one year (this word is literally “year” or also “an
age”), and shall cheer up his wife which he
hath taken.”
· End-time
Application: After the Marriage Supper of the Lamb,
Yahshua will not go to war with hell or finish that “business” until after the
“year” (1000 years, the age) of “cheering up” (bringing joy to) His new Bride.
Maid-servant Statutes –
· If a young
woman is brought into the Master’s House as a servant, and she is pleasing to
the Son of the Master, that he may seek marriage with her.
· If she accepts
His proposal, she becomes a full inheriting daughter of the house.
Bond-servant Statutes –
· If a person
becomes a servant because of debt, they may come to love the Master so much
that they choose to stay in His House forever. (The apostles all called
themselves “bondservants”). It is a free-will offering – a service performed
out of love not obligation. The master pays the servant’s debt. And the servant
has served his time. He may leave. But the bondservant does not want to leave.
o The door of the Master’s
house had the Mezzuzah (containing
the Shema – Deut. 6:4-9). When the
bondservant was first initiated, by volunteering, the master would put his ear
the doorpost and use a sharp awl to pierce his ear. A small drop of blood would
be on the doorpost to symbolize that this bondservant was now blood of the
family and like the family does, he also swears to Shema.
o When a person becomes a
bondservant they also become an inheritor like a son.
Cup of Jealousy – Cup of
Wrath (Numbers 5)
This cup contained a terrible (painful) death for the guilty. But for the innocent there was blessing. Judgment is either Eternal Life or Eternal Death…
There are more Statutes in Torah which pertain to End-time Prophecy, but these are the ones we mentioned in class today.
