In today's class, we continued what we've studied about how the 5 keys to show that the indeed there is no second chance after the Second Coming. Since all five keys teach this so clearly, the question becomes, how did such a twisted teaching come to be so prevalent in people's beliefs? The misunderstanding about what happens in the Millennium largely comes from making spiritual prophecies literal, such as Isaiah 2:2-4.
One thing we must remember is that we are not correctly
understanding a Bible prophecy until all the prophecies fit together
harmoniously. If we think unsaved people are going to come to Jerusalem to
worship Messiah and learn His Torah – we have placed this conversion period
AFTER the Second Coming. But too many Scriptures show that cannot be correct in
timing.
Zion (Yahweh’s saved people) will NOT be teaching the heathen after the final Day of Atonement when all probation is forever closed.
· When the New (renewed) Covenant goes into effect (which happens on the final Day of Atonement), Yahweh remembers our sins no more (forever)… And He writes His Law upon our inward parts (Right now, like Paul said, we have to die daily, because our natural inclination is 180 degrees from righteousness… But when Yahweh writes His Law upon our inward parts, as He promises to do in the End, it will make it our natural inclination from that point onward to do righteousness).
· When the New Covenant goes into effect, EVERYONE on Earth with know Yahweh… There are no more missionaries! SO, the teaching that the unsaved nations will gather to the Temple in Jerusalem and learn the Truth after the Second Coming doesn’t fit!!
o Jeremiah 31:33-34 “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Yahshua foretold that the Last Days would be the time for sharing the Gospel. He also plainly stated that when the End came, the process of sharing the Gospel with the world would be ended:
Matthew
24:14 – The very END comes AFTER the Gospel is preached to
all the world. So the teaching that the Second Chance exists after the Second
Coming is wrong.
When the Kingdom of Yahweh is set up, Scripture tells us that
missionaries will no longer be needed. The whole earth will know Yahweh.
Habakkuk 2:14 – the earth is covered with the knowledge of Yahweh as water covers the sea.
Additionally, even during the Last Days, people seeking Yahweh will not be gathering to the literal city of Jerusalem. The literal city of Jerusalem will be the most unholy city on earth, for it will be the seat of the Beast. Claiming to be Messiah, the final Antichrist will reign on from the Temple in Jerusalem.
But what about Zechariah 14, which plainly states that all
people who won’t come up to Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Tabernacles will
receive the plagues of Yahweh. Doesn’t Scripture teach that the heathen who are
seeking Yahweh should go to Jerusalem to learn about Him and worship Him?
Zechariah 14:18-19 – in the Last Days, those of Egypt (darkness in the world) who do not come up to Jerusalem (join with/worship with the Torah-keepers who are keeping the Feast-spiritual Jerusalem) will not receive the Rain (Latter Rain of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit) but will instead receive the Plagues – we know that gathering together to keep the Feast is Salvational.
But this understanding is only partly right. Everyone who will be saved from the plagues will be keeping the Feast of Tabernacles in the Last Days… But the understanding of Jerusalem’s identity is where things go wrong. We need to remember that this kind of misunderstanding only happens when we don’t study the Bible properly. This is why no Scripture is of private interpretation – 2 Peter 1:20. All Scripture must fit together, or we will not have a correct understanding.
One key thing that is being overlooked in the wrong interpretation of Zechariah 14 is that Jerusalem is not only a physical place- a literal city- it is also a symbol of the saved people of Yahweh.
One of the Scriptural symbols for Yahweh’s saved people is the symbol of the city.
Isaiah 62:10-12 – the holy people are called the “city not forsaken” which is a term used for Jerusalem. Clearly, Jerusalem is Yahweh’s saved people in this Scripture.
Isaiah 51:16 – Zion is also a reference to Yahweh’s holy people.
1 Corinthians 6:19 – The body is the holy Temple of Yah, when His Spirit is there.
Micah 4:1-2 –
· Micah 4:1-2 “But in the Last Days (this is a buzz word phrase in Hebrew that refers to the End of the World) it shall come to pass, that the Mountain of the House of Yahweh (Mount Zion, which is the “Temple Mount” is the holy people, who are also referred to as His House – Temple) shall be established in the top of the mountains (leadership, that which is exalted), and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people (nations of the world) shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways (out of the belly of Yahweh’s saved people will flow rivers of living water), and we will walk in His Paths (Jeremiah 6:16, “the old Ways are the right ways”): for the Law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem (Yahweh’s people are doing the work of Elijah in the Last Days, calling people to repentance, gathering out the stones, and lifting up the Standard – Torah – for the people).”

How do you spiritually consider Zech 14:21 "...and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein..." knowing that the word sacrifice could mean "sacrifices of praise", but we also know that seethe means to boil (which is what they would do with a sacrificed animal)?
