Prophecy Club Part 2 - Session 6 - September 1, 2021

In today's session, we began working on our new set of worksheets, which is on the Final 70 Week prophecy, from Daniel 9:24-27.  We have begun our study by looking at each element of the prophecy as "ingredients" which may appear in each layer of fulfillment in either a literal or a figurative way.

We are also beginning our study of the first layer of fulfillment of this prophecy. In today's discussion, I mentioned that the term Jerusalem doesn't always mean the literal city, in Bible Prophecy. Jerusalem is the holy city that is judged in Daniel 9. But it was literally judged in the first layer, as we will be further studying. Failure to recognize what is being judged in each manifestation of this prophecy is quite serious. In the case of Jerusalem, the literal city of Jerusalem is no longer "the holy city". It was cut off from that title in the first layer of the fulfillment of Daniel 9's 70 week prophecy.
