In today's session, we looked at the second layer of fulfillment of the 70 Week Prophecy, from Daniel 9:24-27.
This prophecy along with the Branch prophecies and the Jonah Prophecy are all vital to being protected from the deceptions of the Anti-christ.
We started our study of the second layer of the 70 week prophecy showing that Yahshua's Ministry, from His baptism was exactly 70 weeks, 490 literal days. The work that He did to restore and build Jerusalem was a spiritual work.

The lessons we are learning are FULL of the Gospel ~ the Good News of our Saviour; His restoration of His character in us leading to our full Redemption. Today's class was very encouraging, as they all are. But, I'd like to comment about the "Two Trees and Two Seeds" message. It seems to me the Tree of the "Knowledge of Good and Evil" came into being at some unknown time "after" Creation, since at Creation everything that our Creator made "was very good". It sounds like Satan took a seed from an existing tree and genetically modified it, in essence making it "his seed ~ because he corrupted it". And when Adam and Eve agreed to eat fruit from his corrupt tree, the spirit of rebellion entered into their minds. When they ate that genetically modified fruit, it literally "changed" their cells. In this way, the devil genetically modified humanity ~ literally in our flesh and nature ~ ushering in rebellion, decay, ruin and death ~ All of which were NEVER Yah's plan for us. Since we have all been genetically modified from the inception of sin (through inheritance), there is only "one way" to be changed back to the nature (spiritual and physical) Yah intended for us to have ~ that is, to be "born again" with His Spirit living in us...to be a living temple for Him (Romans 12:1-2). Yahshua said "I am the way, the truth and the life." We must be filled with His Spirit to "know" (covenant word of marital intimacy) "the way, the truth and the life". Yahshua paid the wages of our sin on The Cross providing "the way" for our Salvation ~ by faith in Him. Salvation begins with accepting by faith what Yahshua did for us on The Cross. We are no longer under the condemnation of breaking Yah's Law ~ His Blood washes away the record of our sin. To continue growing in Messiah, we must be filled with His indwelling Spirit providing us spiritual rebirth...a new heart..."The Truth". But, we will remain genetically modified in our physical body until we are "changed in the twinkling of an eye" at His Coming..."The Life". In today's world we must be on the alert to reject anything that genetically deepens our estrangement from our Creator...literally and figuratively... in our body and mind ~ especially through any of our senses...to keep our heart, mind and body pure and wholehearted for our Saviour and King. Is this a stretch of the message of the "Two Trees and Two Seeds"?
