For our second class, we began our study of the Five Keys that Unlock Bible Prophecy. We specifically studied the first two keys, which are the Torah and the Prophets.
The following are some of the KEY CONCEPTS from this class:
1) The first of the Five Keys is the Torah, which is the Law of Yahweh. The Torah is the first five books of the Bible (Genesis to Deuteronomy). We may know that the Torah is one of the Five Keys from Isaiah 8:20.
2) The second of the Five Keys is the Prophets. Similar to building a puzzle, all the topical (on the same topic) prophecies must fit together in order to rightly interpret a Bible prophecy. Until all the prophets on a topic fit together, we don't have the picture right. (2 Peter 2:20-21; Isaiah 28:9-10)
3) The third of the Five Keys is the Feasts. We may know that the Feasts are vital to understanding End time prophecy from the following Scriptures, in which "Feasts" (Hebrew mo'ed, Strongs number H4150) is translated as "time appointed": Daniel 8:19, Daniel 11:27; Daniel 11:35; Colossians 2:16-17; and Leviticus 23 (which calls the Feasts "holy Convocations" - Convocations is from the Hebrew word Mikraw, meaning "rehearsals").
4) The Bible was not written in English - so we need to look at the original words, to get the right understanding.

During our class, the question came up that Colossians 2:14-16 is being wrongly used to nail the Feasts to the Cross, so what is the "handwriting of the Ordinances, which was against us" that was "nailed to the Cross", from Colossians 2:14?
