Spiritual Warfare - Spirit of Jezebel:
·1 & 2 Kings – we find a lot
about the wicked queen of Israel called Jezebel… She was a Phoenician princess / priestess
that married Israel’s king Ahab – But Jezebel is also the name of a demonic spirit - one which manifests with the characteristics of the Biblical Jezebel.
o Jezebel is idolatrous and
controlling and even murderous

Revelation 2:18-29
Revelation 2:20 “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”
The Jezebel spirit curses foods/drinks ("to eat things sacrificed to idols") and then offers them to unknowing believers... when eaten the food brings curses upon them.
Christians/the believers of Thyatira (which is a spiritual condition) are ignoring the dark spirit at work, and letting the wolf remain in the Body of Christ – suffering is “to let be, that is, permit or leave alone.
Jezebel's spirit manifests as a prophetess/prophet, which is a teacher of truth… The Jezebel spirit manifests in usurping or claiming leadership roles and behaving in a controlling way.
This spirit uses seduction… In old English “to seduce” is from the Latin seducere, which means “to lead away” and to “lead astray”… Seduction was a corruptive act, not necessarily sexual. The seduced person loses their virtue (spiritual purity and potency).
Jezebel is also a false prophet (or prophetess)… And the fruits and works of this spirit are described in Ezekiel 13

o False prophets are foolish, which is Biblically defined as:
• Being Opinionated (to the point of not desiring understanding, but rather only liking to push one’s own ideas on others
Proverbs 18:2 – “A fool takes no
pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinions”
Proverbs 17:28
Lacking or low self-control
Proverbs 29:11 – “A fool gives vent
to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back”
A fool does not fear Yahweh
Proverbs 1:7 – “The fear is of
Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom – a fool despises wisdom and instruction”
Foolishness can manifest in picking
fights and being contentious
Proverbs 18:6 – “A fool’s lips walk
into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating”
Proverbs 29:9 – “If a wise man has
an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs. There is no quiet.”
Foolishness often believes of itself
to possess great knowledge… Their knowledge is deception/deceptive and leading others into
being deceived…

Foolishness is to mock or downplay
Yahshua’s Sacrifice (the Guilt offering)

Foolishness is reckless, and
careless and doesn’t turn from evil… (no genuine repentance… plays spiritual “games”
to look like a Christian, but the fruit of repentance is not manifested in the
life.
