Spiritual Warfare - Discerning Ruling Spirits:

· One of the big ways that the Enemy gets in to Yahweh’s people is through “Good”:

·  Genesis 3:1 — “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which Yahweh God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?”

·   You should expect the enemy to come to you looking good to your senses

o Proverbs 14:12  “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” 

Using the tragic account of the Fall, notice how the devil works:

·       The serpent appears (to his human prey) as if he is righteous…  The fact that the serpent is really the devil is completely undiscernible to the senses of his “mark”.

·       The serpent poses as a “friend” and benefactor of his intended victim.

·       The serpent uses deception. He does this by mixing Truth in with his lies, just as he did with Eve in the Garden. The serpent’s ideas and suggestions won’t be 100% wrong, making the whole idea more deceptive than ever.

·       The serpent is most cunning. No human can outsmart the devil, nor use our own intellect to determine what is good or evil! The devil is defeated through Yahweh’s Word and Power, not through human reasoning or intelligence.

·       The serpent’s true identity and purpose can only be discerned by the Word of Yahweh. Even Eve’s perfect sense, feelings and intuition and thoughts were unable to unmask the Enemy beneath the serpent’s skin. How much less should we rely on our senses, emotions, experiences, interpretations of experiences, thinking and ideas (since we are fallen and are not even on par with Eve)? It is a lie that we know best!!! Yahweh and His Word are the Source of Truth.

Here is a classic example of how dangerous it is to trust our perceptions to determine whether something is good or evil: Yoga. How does Yoga look? It looks to most like you’re doing something healthy and good.

Practices like yoga and tai chi are all about training the person to control life-force energy and focus their thinking, as is necessary to channel demonic spirits more fully. Notably also, the yoga body positions harken back to ancient sun-worship.

All yoga, no matter its name, is created for one primary purpose, reaching samadhi. In Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, samadhi is a state of meditative consciousness. It is religion, not exercise. The word samadhi comes from Sanskrit. It’s root “sam” means “to bring together” —the human with the “divine” (which is demons). So, when samadhi is fully achieved—which the apex goal of yoga— the person will fully identify with the Absolute (“god”, which is not Yahweh).

“It is “a soundless state of breathlessness. A blissful super consciousness state in which a yogi perceives the identity of the individualized Soul and Cosmic Spirit.” (This means that practicing yoga to the point of achieving samadhi unlocks their “godness”—indicating a high level of demonic possession.)”

The founder of Ashtanga Yoga, K. Pattabhi Jois, stated with full transparency that the moves in yoga are actually designed primarily for worship. He explained:

“There is no Ashtanga yoga without Surya Namaskara, which is the ultimate salutation to the Sun god.”

People—including many Christians— have been deceived into thinking yoga is merely about exercise. But, as the pagans have long known, what we call yoga is actually worshipping demonic spirits with “sacred” body positions while breathing in specially designed ways to “unblock” the flow of “life- force” energy. And, often unknowingly, with each practice of it, the person gives more and more legal access to demonic entities to enter and use them. Playing with energies in this manner is actually witchcraft! Such practices, promoted as being for “natural and wholistic” health, are actually healing heresy. They spiritually “install” and open demonic “gateways” into the soul of the unsuspecting believer!

There is no room for hypocrisy and playing with sin in discernment, nor in any other aspect of Spiritual Warfare. Spiritual Warfare requires righteousness, which is found (for us) by having confessed and repented of our sins, having no “skeletons” of unsurrendered areas in our lives, and by claiming the Righteousness of Yahshua.

·       1 Corinthians 2:14  “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

·       John 14:15 – “If he love Me keep My Commandments.”

·       James 5:16 – “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Be a living Sanctuary (which is pure and holy and set apart) – Carry the Glory of Yahweh within you!

Seven Signs that You are Under Spiritual Attack

1. 1. A loss of desire for spiritual things (you don’t want to sing, no interest in reading the Bible, you don’t want to spend time worshipping Yahweh)
2. A loss of a desire for spiritual community (no desire to worship with the Body of Christ, isolation)
3. A strategic timing of attack (when you are sick, or weakest)
4. When you experience a temptation that is unusual for you (type of temptation is not normal for you or the intensity is extreme)
5. A sudden and intense discouragement
6. Extreme sense of condemnation (if it drives us away from Yahweh, His Word and His Body, its of the enemy)
7. Unusual strife/conflict in your relationships
