The Final 7 Years: 2020-2027...
Scripture tells us to use the Heavens for prophecy - the Heavenly Lights were made for "signs" - prophetic signs.
Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.”
The Final Seven Years - 6 Prophetically Foretold Events that Take Place in the 1260-Day Timeline:
1260 Event #3: The 1260 Days is the final period of Judgment – which concludes on the Final Day of Atonement
o Measuring the Temple
o Revelation 11:1-2 “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the Temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”
§ 42 x 30 = 1260
o Zechariah 2:1-2 “I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.”
o The Standard in Judgment is the Law of Yahweh, here referred to as the “Rule”, also known as the “Ruler” (for measurement)
§ 2 Corinthians 10:12-13 “For we dare not… compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. But… according to the measure of the Rule which God hath distributed to us…”
o Measurement is Judgment -This is having our lives compared with the Standard (Torah)
§ 1 Peter 4:17 “For the time is come that Judgment must begin at the House of God…”
Judgment goes hand-in-hand with the spreading of the Everlasting Gospel
· Act 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
· Judgment takes place Group-by-group… as the Gospel goes group-by-group:
o Jerusalem: Judgment Begins with the “House of God”
o Judea:
o Samaria
o Uttermost parts of the Earth
Judged Group #1: Jerusalem – Jerusalem is people in prophecy regarding Judgment
§ Who is Jerusalem? Jerusalem is the barley – which is harvested first… It is the 144,000 (First Fruits), it is also called the Bride of Messiah. This is the group of people that have known about the Torah-Sabbaths-the Gospel for the longest.
o The Judgment of Jerusalem (spiritual) is in tandem with the barley harvest…
§ FIRST FRUITS (which is relatively a small amount of grain) - The first fruits of the barley harvest is on the Passover Seder Table – the first fruits of the barley as people will be sealed by Passover? (An omer of barley is the First Fruits)
§ THE REST OF THE BARLEY HARVEST - The rest of the barley harvest continues to come in until Pentecost
· Yahshua wept over Jerusalem, but wasn’t crying over the rejection of the literal city, Jerusalem was His professing people
· Saved Jerusalem is Yahweh’s People
o Isaiah 2:3 “And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the House of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of His Ways, and we will walk in His Paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.”
o The final Elijah message is restoring the Old Paths, magnifying the Torah and calling people to repentance and restoration in Torah-keeping
o Jerusalem is a “brand plucked out of the Fire” – a branch on the brush pile that is saved from the fire…
§ Zechariah 3:2 “And Yahweh said unto Satan, Yahweh rebuke thee, O Satan; even Yahweh that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the Fire?”
o Jerusalem was the holy city only because Yahweh’s Presence was dwelling in its Temple
§ When Yahshua pronounced the Temple as “desolate” (Abomination of Desolation), Jerusalem (literally) was no longer the holy city
· Matthew 23:37-38 – “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your House (Temple) is left unto you desolate.”
o The most serious Time of Final Judgment is the last 490 days that are at the end of the 1260 Days, culminating in the Final Day of Atonement
§ Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
· Determined = chathak (H2852) – “to cut off” and “to decree” This is a Judgment word. Whatever is “decreed” receives Good… Whatever is “cut off” is permanently Judged - Death
o When Yahshua died for us, His Death was called being “cut off” (Daniel 9:26)
