Prophecy Class - Day 12: Study of the Antichrist (continued)

In today's class, we continued our study of all the verses on the Antichrist. We focused on the names of the Beast/Antichrist, which he appears by in Bible Prophecy. Today's focus was on the King of the North.

We may know that the King of the North is indeed the Antichrist because Bible Prophecy tells us the characteristics and activities of the King of the North, which are the same as the Beast.

King of the North:

Daniel 11:13 – he will lead a huge army/much riches.

Daniel 11:15-16 & 31 – He takes control of cities, and the Glorious Land (Jerusalem, specifically the Temple – “the Abomination of Desolation”). He dominates the world with tremendous military might.

Daniel 11:36 – He will claim the worship that belongs to Yahweh. He will claim to be God.

Daniel 11:45 – He will desecrate the holy Mountain. In fact, his “tabernacle” (Temple) will be there…

·  The true King of the North is Yahweh (Psalm 48:2). The human is an imposter.

·  He will conquer and rule the world.

·  He will pollute what should be Yahweh’s Sanctuary.

·  He claims the Temple Mount and places the Abomination of Desolation there.

• He claims to be God. And claims the worship.
