Today, we completed our study of the ninth vision of Zechariah, found in Zechariah 7:4-16.
In the scattering of Israel, the northern 10 tribes came to be under the headship of Joseph. And Benjamin came to be under the headship of Judah.
Yahweh had two purposes for the scattering, both of which were good - and both of which were accomplished:
1) The scattering is persecutory and brings an opportunity to repent. Many of idolatrous Israel did repent in their captivity and scattering. They returned to Yahweh and kept Torah where they were.
2) The scattering is also evangelistic. When Israel relocated into regions throughout Europe, they kept the Torah there, influencing many to become Torah-keeping.

LAST CLASS OF THE YEAR: May 31
Prophecy Club 3 has run from August of 2022 and will be ending on Wednesday, May 31. At that point, we will be taking a break for summer and the new Prophecy-Current Events class will begin on Monday, September 4, 2023.
It's been a wonderful year studying with you all! And I very much look forward to joining you for in-depth prophecy studies again in September (right after Labor Day)!
