Today we finished our study of Zechariah's 8th vision, found in Zechariah 6:9-15. This vision contains beautiful prophetic promises of what Yahweh is doing in the lives of His saved people. This vision is also one of the five BRANCH Prophecies. Messiah is the BRANCH. Thus, the proof that Yahshua is the BRANCH is found in the Gospels, which show His fulfillment of the five Branch prophecies.
Building the Temple of Yahweh – Zechariah 6:12-13
Yahshua built the Spiritual Temple (Yahweh is Spirit, and they that worship Him must do so in Spirit and Truth).

The steps for building the Spiritual Temple are given in Isaiah 62:10-12, which we are studying now...
There are several elements in this vision. The following is the meaning of each prophetic name or symbol, as we found in our studies:
THE CROWNS - Multiple crowns indicate emphasis of Kingship/Rulership. Yahshua is the One wearing the crowns. This also indicates His supreme Authority and His ability to save all. The Crown represents eternal life (also).
THE NAMES - The names of the men are prophetic:
- Heldai and Helem are the
same… being “out from worldliness” and into “Israel”.
- Tobijah is “goodness of Yahweh” (repeated twice to show that this is a firm Promise) that He will reproduce His Character in His people.
- Jedaiah is “Yah
has known” indicating to be in the Marriage Covenant with Yah.
- Josiah the son of Zephaniah “founded of
Yah” – of the foundation of Yah (Sacred
Name). (Zephaniah means “Yah has secreted”, or this one is in the Secret Place
of the Most High – Psalm 91).
- Hen the son of Zephaniah means “Grace” (Yahweh’s Graciousness” bestowed upon
His people).
- Joshua (Yahshua – the Salvation of Yah) the son of Josedech (Yahovah has righted – the One through Whom His family is made Righteous), the high priest.”
THE BRANCH - BRANCH is translated from the Hebrew word “Tsemach” – this is Messiah / aka Christ. The spirit of antichrist (the false Christ, the anti-messiah) denies Yahshua as Messiah. He claims messiahship and rejects that Yahshua is the BRANCH.
BUILDING THE TEMPLE OF YAHWEH - The BRANCH (Messiah) was foretold to “build” the Temple of Yahweh… Which Yahshua DID while He was here. The building is SPIRITUAL. The Body is the Temple.
This prophecy shows that the people are characteristics of the saved – all of whom are in the Temple of Yahweh and are builders with Him of the Temple. Building the Temple is a Work that Messiah did while here… and it is ongoing, especially in the Last Days.
