Today, we continued our study of the first vision of Zechariah, recorded in Zechariah 1:8-10. In this vision, the prophet Zechariah saw a red horse and rider stand among the myrtle trees in the "bottom".
In our studies about the horses, we started off with identifying the white horse, released in the First Seal of Revelation 6:1-2. This horse represents righteousness - the Final Gospel Message bringing Salvation and the Seal of Yahweh to all who will be saved.
The horse is the submitted and obedient saints. The Rider is Yahshua Himself. The arrow fired from the bow that the Rider carries is the final Elijah Message/ the Gospel of the Kingdom. And the Crown signifies not only Kingdom and Kingship, but also Eternal Life.
The Final Elijah Message is detailed in Isaiah 62:10-12, which mentions going through the gate (the Narrow Way), raising up the Standard (the Torah) and a few other beautiful details.
Lars Borre, one of our Prophecy Club members, from Sweden, set to music the Scripture on the Narrow Way. He shared it with us, along with the following message:
Behold, it´s 40 years ago since we did this recording with a group I played with at this time! I play the B3 organ, a biiiiig one.
The quality is not very good with a lot of noise,But the intention was good... The lyrics is from, Matthew 7:13-14:
Next, we looked at the meaning to find the identity of the Red Horse who rides forth in the Second Seal.
1) The Red Horse – Revelation 6:3-4
·
Meaning
of the color – Red (dragon [satan] is red)
· Isaiah 1:18 – white is for
righteousness, red is for sin.
· Exodus 26:14 – red is also a symbol
for the Blood of Yahshua, shed for the remission of sin.
·
What does the Horseman carry? Sword –
meaning?
· Genesis 27:40 – the sword is a symbol
for no peace - fighting
· Genesis 31:26 – the sword is a symbol
of domination (taking captive), brute force
· Exodus 5:21 – the sword is a symbol
of violence and military might.
· Zechariah 13:7 – the sword is a
symbol of bringing death.
· Matthew 10:34 – Yahshua did not come
to send peace but a “sword”… The sword
represents the opposite of peace. The sword is then a time of no-peace and
suffering.
·
What does the Horseman take from the
earth? Peace – meaning?
· Psalm 37:37 – the future of the
righteous is Eternal Peace… Those who receive the reward of Eternal Peace are those who receive the
Seal of Yahweh (“mark the perfect
man”).
