Today, we continued our study of 4th and 5th Branch Prophecies... The 4th and 5th Branch prophecies are ones that deal with the topic of Millennium and the final reign of Messiah.
We continued our study of the reign of Messiah/Millennium topic through the Mazzaroth, which is the fourth key to unlocking End-time Bible Prophecy.
The final primary constellation, is Aryeh, now called Leo. In the constellation of Orion, we saw a lion being held by the throat by the mighty Orion.
In this star-picture, the lion represents Satan (1 Peter 5:8), but this is actually only so because the Devil is an imitator—the antichrist power (1 John 2:18). The lion is rightfully the symbol of the true Christ, not the antichrist. Messiah is called the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah.”
“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Revelation 5:5 (KJV)
In this star-picture we find the grand finale—the final acts—which forever put an end to sin and restore the earth and universe to its former sinless beauty. As the prophet Nahum foretold, “affliction” which is the result of sin and death will “not rise up the second time” (Nahum 1:9).
In this star-picture, the Heavenly Lion is preparing to leap upon the neck of the terrible crooked serpent. According to Aryeh, God’s Judgment upon the devil and his minions is swift and final. Satan well knows the Scripture and star-story, which is why the Bible tells us that he knows he only has a “short time” in which to work his evil (Rev. 12:12). The Heavenly Lion destroys him in the End (Rev. 20:10-15; Hebrews 2:14).
The first decan of Aryeh is the “Crooked Serpent”, Aqallathon Nachash. This monstrous constellation takes up a full third of the heavens, which is spiritually significant because, when Satan fell, he brought one third of the Heavenly angels with him to join his rebellion.
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon... And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Heaven, and did cast them to the earth...” Rev. 12:3-4 (KJV)
Stars are a prophetic symbol which represent angels in the Bible (Job 38:7; Revelation 1:20). So in this star-picture, Aryeh is Judging the Crooked Serpent, which includes the Devil and the rebellious angels which sided with him.
In Revelation 20:10, we find that Aryeh (Messiah) will Judge the Devil and his minions by casting them into the Lake of Fire. The reference to the Lake of Fire burning “forever” makes it appear that the Universe will never fully be free of the
Devil’s presence, since he would go on burning for all eternity. But this is a misunderstanding.
In Scripture, the term “forever” doesn’t only mean “eternally”. Another meaning is that an event would continue until it was fully finished. Which meaning of “forever” applies to the burning Fire of Judgment?
In Ezekiel 28:14-19, we read a prophecy about the “King of Tyre”. But this is no human king, as is clear from the context. In verses 14 and 15 we find that this King of Tyre was once the covering cherub in Heaven and became the father of evil:
“Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy Mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” Ezekiel 28:14-15 (KJV)
Clearly then, the King of Tyre is the Devil himself who, before he Fell, was a covering cherub which served at the Throne of God in Heaven. Now, that we know who the King of Tyre is, we can see what God says will be the Devil’s End.
“… Therefore will I bring forth a Fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.” Ezekiel 28:18-19 (KJV)
Malachi chapter four also clearly states that the Judgment Fire which God will send during the time of Aryeh will be a consuming Fire. All in it (the Devil included) will be fully and completely reduced to ashes. And they will never exist to harm anyone anymore.
The two remaining decans of Aryeh continue this star-theme. Kos (Crater) is the Cup of God’s Wrath, which the Bible tells us will be poured out without measure and drunken to its “dregs”. Sadly, the unrepentant wicked, who were not Judged at the Second Coming (For “the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years are finished”, Revelation 20:5) will partake of this deadly Judgment Cup along with the Devil.
“For in the Hand of Yahweh there is a Cup... The dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.” Psalm 75:8 (KJV)
It is unnecessary for any human to “drink” of this terrible Cup, of Judgment Fire (2 Peter 3:9; Ezekiel 33:11). To prevent people from “drinking” of the Judgment of God, Yahshua “drank” of the Cup for us all (Luke 22:42, John 18:11). But for those who reject Christ, they must drink the Cup for themselves. And there is Eternal Death in the Cup.
The third decan is the raven, which is a scavenger and a Hebrew metaphor for death (Matthew 24:28). Since the wicked and the Devil are reduced to “ashes”, there are no bodies for birds to literally eat. But the metaphor is a warning of Eternal Death.
