In today's session, we began a new set of worksheets focusing on the part of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy which is "anointing the most holy" in Daniel 9:24.
We discussed the two past fulfillments of the Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy with the following synopsis:
Layer 1: from 457 BC to 34 AD (490 Years)
- Figurative time - day for a year
- Literal fulfillment - literal Jerusalem, the actual street and wall are built and the literal Most Holy (the Ark of the Covenant) was anointed. We will be studying this anointing of the Ark in our current (new) set of worksheets.
Layer 2: from 27-28 AD (490 Days)
- Literal time - day for a day
- Figurative fulfillment - spiritual Jerusalem, the spiritual street (the "Old Path" Jeremiah 6:16) and wall (restoring the Torah) are spiritually built and the spiritual Most Holy (Messiah Himself - "Messiah" means "anointed One" - He was anointed by Heaven at His baptism) was anointed.

UPCOMING HOLY DAYS:
The month of October is the month of the Fall Feasts this year. We know that many Feast-keepers kept the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles earlier (in September) this year, but we believe the correct calendar puts the Fall Feasts a month later than many... (For more information on the timing, and to see why our calendar is a month later this year, see the full studies at the bottom of this section).
Day of Atonement Weekend: October 16-17 - More Information
Prophecy Club will not meet on the following dates in October:
- October 18 and 20 - this week is our Retreat Prep (no Prophecy Club due to cooking for the Feast week, sermon writing, etc.)
- October 25 and 27 - this week is our Feast of Tabernacles Retreat (no Prophecy Club meetings, but you are cordially invited to join us for the meeting broadcasts, during this exciting week - see the Retreat Schedule)
- November 1 and 3 - this week is our needed break, allowing us time to clean, rest, and put things back in order following the camp meeting/retreat (no Prophecy Club during this time).
Prophecy Club will resume, following the above listed break, on Monday, November 8.

ReplyDeleteHere is a 3 day 3 night study I did for a friend. Proving Yeshua is Messiah in the story of Abraham and Isaac. The life of Joseph is an amazing one too in so many ways. Let me know if anyone is interested in mor:
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when Yeshua told His disciples that the Torah (Law), the Psalms and the prophets were all about Him? Well, He was not kidding.
If you see the number 3, 30, 300, etc., attached to a picture of death (or near death) followed by life, start looking harder at the story, because you are most likely in a Messianic prophecy. Remember what Yeshua said would be the one sign of His authenticity as the Messiah? Jonah. Three days and three nights in the belly of the whale depicting Yeshua's three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The “Akeida,” or binding of Issac is one of those pictures. I want to walk you through what happened in Joseph's life later if you're interested, because that is so amazing, right down to the two thieves on the cross. But, for now, the story of Abraham and Isaac is a good start because more people are aware already that this is a Messianic picture.
If you can, read the story in Genesis 22:1-19.
So . . . step by step.
Gen. 22:2 Yahweh commands Abraham to take his son, his ONLY SON, Isaac to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on ONE of the Mountains which Yahweh will show him. (Question: did Abraham only have ONE son? Why did God say this? Because He only had ONE son. This is a picture of Messiah. When the Bible says something that doesn't make sense, behold! It is important. Everything is said with a purpose.)
Gen. 22:3 Abraham goes with (TWO of his young men! Man! I just saw this! Isaac/Messiah/two thieves on either side of him! Hmmmmm, maybe?) Okay, so they have the “wood.”
Gen. 22:4 On the THIRD DAY Abraham lifts his eyes and sees “the place” afar off.
Gen. 22:5 Abraham tells his young men to wait and “WE will come back to you.”
Gen. 22:6 Abraham takes the wood of the burnt offering and lays it on Isaac's shoulders. Who carried the wood in Messiah's story? What was the Wood? The cross? And the TWO of them (Father and Son) went together. The Father came in the flesh with His Son to offer a sacrifice. If you question this, I can prove it later. But, you are most likely familiar with this already.
Gen 22:7 Issac asks Abraham where the Lamb is. If you read this in the KJV, this is how it reads: “”My son, God will provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering.” There is no word “for” in the Hebrew. Again, a picture of “God in the flesh” reconciling the world unto Himself.
So if you want, you can read through verses 8-12. I'm going to skip those for now and go on to verse 13.
Gen. 22:13 Abraham lifts his eyes and sees a ram caught in a “thicket” by his “horns.” Here we see a picture of the crown of thorns placed on Yeshua's head. The Strong's and BDB don't show this as well but there are other lexicons that say that this is a THORN THICKET.” Can't prove that right now but you have to use your imagination. I can show you other pictures of this later that are really cool!!! Also, a ram was the burnt offering in the sacrificial system that pointed to Messiah.
Gen. 22:14 Abraham calls this place Yahweh (or Yehovah/Yahovah) Yireh; “The LORD (Yahweh) will provide.”
Finally, Gen. 22:19 says that Abraham returns to the young men. Wait. Where is Isaac? Didn't Abraham tell the young men that they would both be back? Something to think about.
So, this is long. I hope you are blessed by it! I hope you see how Awesome this God is who tells us “the end from the beginning.” You can absolutely prove that Yeshua is who He said He is from the Tanach. There are many more. Let me know if you're interested.
