In today's session, we were continuing our study of the Jonah Prophecy and the Saviour's fulfillment of it. We found that the prophecy regarding the length of time Messiah would be in the grave (as an evidence of His Messiahship) is so important that there are nine Scriptural evidences for it.
Most people assume that Yahshua's Resurrection was on Sunday, because FirstFruits is indeed on the first day of the week, as we discussed in class. But actually, FirstFruits happens in three stages, only 1 of which falls on the actual day of FirstFruits:
1) The Marking of the Grain - was on Passover
2) The Cutting of the Grain - was on Sabbath
3) The Waving of the Grain - was on Sunday, First Fruits.
Yahshua, Who was Sovereign of the Sabbath, was Resurrected on the Sabbath! This is a key ingredient in being able to discern His fulfillment of the three days and three nights prophecy.
PAST ZOOM RECORDINGS:
Several members of Prophecy Club have asked for the video recordings of our past sessions from earlier this year. A few have fallen behind in watching the Zoom recordings. As a result, I said that I would try to provide the links to all the past Zoom recordings, which I have already uploaded online...
Sadly, when I did this, the video links would not play... I can play them on my computer, but it seems they need to be uploaded into a playable format... Back to the drawing board. I will try something else, but know I am working on it.

The month of October is the month of the Fall Feasts this year. We know that many Feast-keepers kept the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles earlier (in September) this year, but we believe the correct calendar puts the Fall Feasts a month later than many... (For more information on the timing, and to see why our calendar is a month later this year, see the full studies at the bottom of this section).

Prophecy Club will not meet on the following dates in October:
- October 18 and 20 - this week is our Retreat Prep (no Prophecy Club due to cooking for the Feast week, sermon writing, etc.)
- October 25 and 27 - this week is our Feast of Tabernacles Retreat (no Prophecy Club meetings, but you are cordially invited to join us for the meeting broadcasts, during this exciting week - see the Retreat Schedule)
- November 1 and 3 - this week is our needed break, allowing us time to clean, rest, and put things back in order following the camp meeting/retreat (no Prophecy Club during this time).
Prophecy Club will resume, following the above listed break, on Monday, November 8.

ReplyDelete“So, I just wanted to mention that, along with the Jonah sign of three days and three nights, there are some really good studies about that in the Old Testament. Remember when Yahshua told His disciples that the Psalms and Law (Torah) and prophets were all about Him?
Well, Dan and I have studied the idea (not our own study; can't take credit for it) that when you see the numbers 3, 30, 300 etc. combined with a picture of death or near death and resurrection, you are most often in Messianic prophecy.
For instance the story of the life of Joseph. Even Daniel. Share more later if anyone is interested. It's amazing!”
