Today, we began a study on the Timelines. We are studying to see how they start, how they end, and how they fit together...
1) As was mentioned in class, the longest timeline, which is the base layer, is the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycle. The next longest layer is the 2300 Days prophecy.
2) the Saviour in Matthew 24:15-28, gave a series of things to help us understand the events in the 2300 Days - the time of the Abomination of Desolation.
Thus, we reviewed this concept.
Additionally, we spoke of having a Prophecy Club part 2 next year... There was enough interest in the people who were in the class to warrant having one... So... We will be having a Prophecy Club class again next year! Already, I am looking forward to it! We will plan to take the summer off, but Prophecy Club will resume at the end of August... This means that if you have people who wish to join, the time to sign up for this class is starting now. Let me know if you want to sign up and let others know too if they want to sign up that this is the time to do it. :-)

SPRING BREAK: April 20-May 6
We will not be having any Prophecy Club sessions from April 20 to May 6, 2021, due to our Spring Break. I always time our Spring Break to be at the time of the Passover/Unleavened Bread. The break is longer than Passover (April 27) and the Feast of Unleavened Bread (April 28 to May 4). This is because we need the week prior to the Feast for Retreat prep and cooking. And the days after the Retreat we need for clean up and getting things back to normal... So...
After Spring Break, Prophecy Club will resume on Tuesday, May 11.
By the way, we now have only have 10 more sessions of Prophecy Club for this year (Prophecy Club ends on June 3, 2021).

Is there any specific event to mark the close of the 1290 days?
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, the 1290 days is the least defined of all the timelines. We know what starts it, so by placing it with the 2300 days, which starts the same as the 1290, we find definition. But, no, there is no specific event given in the Scripture... The events are found by connecting the dots with the other timelines which layer with it.
