In our Prophecy Club studies, we completed another set of worksheets, which are included below. Our study today addressed Yahshua's Matthew 24 prophecy that the "house" (Temple) in Jerusalem was left "desolate". The desolate reference connects with the Abomination of Desolation... And this pronouncement took place before the Temple was destroyed!
We also discussed the moment when the Temple's desolation (the Presence of Yahweh was not within) was revealed to everyone - the moment when the Temple veil was torn from top to bottom, which happened when Yahshua died on the Cross.
"Suddenly, the curtain of the Sanctuary was split in two from top to bottom; the earth quaked and the rocks were split” (Matthew 27:51 HCSB).
It was the time of the evening sacrifice (Deuteronomy 16:6), on Passover, when the Passover lamb for the nation was to be sacrificed. The priests in were preparing to offer the Passover lamb...
On the Cross a few miles away, Yahshua cried out and breathed His last. Suddenly, the massive Temple curtain, 60 feet tall and as thick as the palm of your hand, was ripped apart by an unseen hand.
According to Daniel 9:24-26 and Hebrews 9-10, it was Yahshua's Death, not the destruction of the Temple, which brought the sacrifices to an end.

Shalom Shauna, Where is the information found to tell us about the lamb escaping out of the priest's hand at the time of the temple veil being Rent? Thank you,
