In today's Prophecy Club session, we finished our study of the lion and bear from Daniel 7. We discussed how the final Beast power actually manifests in four stages:
Stage 1: Four separate political powers - the Beasts of Daniel 7
Stage 2: The four separate beasts of Daniel 7 join together to form the one-world political power of Revelation 13 - the Revelation 13 beast is a combination of the beasts from Daniel 7.
Stage 3: One evil human takes the "throne", becoming the global leader - this is the man whose number is 666.
Stage 4: Demon Beast - The human beast is slain ("deadly wound") and a demonic entity (having ascended out of the Bottomless Pit, where only demons are) becomes the leader (perhaps shapeshifting to take the form of the human, fulfilling the riddle that he "was (alive as a human) and is not (the human is slain) and yet is" (the demonic entity looks like the slain human... After having ascended from the Bottomless Pit, Scripture tells us this final stage of the Beast lasts for 1260 days (the final Time of Trouble).
In our study, we found that the lion with eagle's wings is the United States and Great Britain. What role does this first beast play in bringing about a one-world government and religion? The first forms of global government were formed by the union of the lion with eagle's wings. Out of these two nations' coalition ("special relationship") in World War I the League of Nations was formed - which was the first (in modern times) global governing body. But the League of Nations was not sufficient. In World War II, the Globalists created the United Nations. Thus, the first beast (lion with eagle's wings) was instrumental in forming the architecture for Global Governance.
Additionally, the lion with eagle's wings brought the Babylonian worship days into mainstream acceptance, spiritually reviving the religion of ancient Babylon. In Great Britain, Cromwell and others resisted and fought against any attempts to bring Christmas and Easter into the English society. But when England's beloved Queen Victoria was famously drawn posing with Prince Albert and the royal family in front of the palace Christmas tree (see image below), British subjects began to also keep Christmas out of love for and solidarity to their queen.
And what was the US contribution to bringing Christmas to the world? Charles Dickens! His book Christmas Carol, plus Queen Victoria's image with three, caused people in the US and UK to begin keeping Christmas. These events took place in the 1800's... And Christmas, which had formerly been illegal in both the US and Britain, became not only legalized, but increasingly popularized. From there, it didn't take long for the practice of keeping the Babylonian days of worship to spread to the world...
And the second beast of Daniel 7 is the bear, which is Russia. The three ribs represent the 3 Baltic States. What role does this second beast play in bringing about a one-world government and religion? As we discussed in class today, Russia brought Socialism to the world, which is not only a government style but also a religion - a godless one (or one in which the national leaders are their own gods).
